RN Triage - Slocum Orthopedics is looking to fill a full or part time RN Triage position. The RN Triage position will handle incoming patient phone calls on a variety of orthopedic issues, including post-op concerns and questions. This position works in our clinical department, and surgical or orthopedic experience is a must. Requires excellent assessment and documentation skills. This is a benefited position. The position closes 1.26.12.
Clinical Supervisor - Slocum Orthopedics is looking to fill a full time Clinical Supervisor position. This position works in the clinical department supervising medical assistants and the clinical workflow. This position requires at least three years of current or recent work in a medical clinic, either as a medical assistant, supervisor, or another role involved in patient care. This position also requires at least one year of strong medical supervisory experience with responsibility for at least 5 people. This experience needs to include performance reviews, hiring, and mentoring staff. Experience with process improvement and workflow redesign a plus. A successful candidate will have very strong interpersonal skills, diplomacy, tact, and great organizational skills. This posisiton closes 1.26.12.
Transcriptionist - Slocum Orthopedics is looking to fill a full time Transcriptionist position. In order to qualify for this position, an applicant must have at least one year working as a medical transcriptionist, or equivalent transcription education and training. Must be trained or experienced in the use of an Electronic Health Record system, with preference given to those experienced with NextGen. Experience with speech recognition editing and/or orthopedic experience a plus. Must be self motivated to work independently, as well as part of a team. Excellent communication skills and experience with Microsoft Word required.
