X-ray machines go to Ethiopia

Slocum Center is installing new digital x-ray equipment, and its current equipment will be donated to the Shinschicho Mother and Child Clinic in Ethiopia. It will ship later this year. The clinic's director was in town to visit Holt International, and stopped by Slocum to see the eqiupment. KVAL was there to report on his tour.

 
Implant Recall

DePuy Orthopaedics has issued a voluntary recall of its ASR™ XL Acetabular Hip System and DePuy ASR™ Hip Resurfacing System.  Slocum Orthopedics physicians have not used these systems in our patients.  If you underwent a hip replacement with a Slocum physician, this recall does not affect your implant.
