In recent patient surveys, fully 95 percent of patients rated their overall experience at the Slocum Surgery Center as "excellent," with 98 percent rating staff professionalism and caring attitudes as "excellent."

On October 28, we opened our doors and welcomed the public to see what's inside the new Slocum Center. Hundreds of visitors attended the open house and enjoyed specially designed bone cookies, trick or treat stations, costumed characters, and guided tours that showcased our sustainably built facility. For many, the event was an opportunity not only to explore the building, but also a way to celebrate Halloween early.

Three physicians at the Slocum Center for Orthopedics and Sports Medicine join a select group of US physicians who hold a Subspecialty Certificate in Orthopaedic Sports Medicine. This is the first year that the certification was awarded.
