Rapid Access for Musculoskeletal Injuries
At the Slocum Center for Orthopedics & Sports Medicine, we evaluate your injury as quickly as possible. For every day you wait to have your injury assessed, you may miss a day of work, a night of sleep, or time from your favorite sport or activity. Patients can “walk-in” every Monday through Friday. For more than 60 years, our physicians have cared for the bone, joint, and muscle injuries of people in the Pacific Northwest. Many of our physicians undertake research and education projects, frequently attending and speaking at regional and national orthopedic and sports medicine meetings. That’s how serious we are!
Who Can Use "Rapid Access?"
If you have suffered a bone, muscle, or joint injury, or have recently developed joint pain, Rapid Access is for you!
People of all ages and activity levels are welcome. Whether you’re a “weekend warrior,” a committed recreational athlete, or need to get back to work or gardening, we’ll get you on the road to recovery!
To provide the best care for all of our patients, our Rapid Access service is designed to accommodate people with “acute” injuries that are less than seven days old.
How Will I Benefit from Rapid Access to Slocum’s Orthopedic Experts?
“Walk-in” (Monday to Friday) or schedule an appointment less than 24 hours in advance
Receive care from a musculoskeletal expert
Access X-rays, MRI, or Physical Therapy, if needed
Benefit from early diagnosis and treatment for safe and early return to activity
