Occupational and Hand Therapists

Nancy Clogston, O.T., C.H.T.

Nancy Closgston is an occupational therapist and certified hand therapist. She graduated with a Master's Degree in Higher Education with specialization in occupational therapy from University of Missouri at Columbia. She treats patients with upper-extremity orthopedic conditions and has special interest in hand injuries.

Christine Emmes, O.T., C.H.T.

Christine Emmes O.T., C.H.T. graduated with a B.S. in Occupational Therapy from the University of Puget Sound. She has been a practicing therapist for 33 years. Her initial employment was in Neuro-Rehabilitaion in Everett Washington. She moved to Eugene and worked at Sacred Heart Medical Center until the opening of Slocum Center. Chris became certified as a Hand Therapist in 1991, specializing in trauma, orthopedics and neurological disorders. Her personal interests include sailing, skiing, and rowing.

Maureen McCauley, O.T., C.H.T.

Maureen McCauley graduated from University of Puget Sound with a Master's Degree in 1990, and has practiced occupational therapy in acute care, rehabilitation and pediatrics prior to specializing in hand therapy. Maureen became a Certified Hand Therapist in 2000, and thoroughly enjoys working in the outpatient orthopedic setting with hand, wrist, elbow and shoulder patients as well as collaborating with the orthopedic physicians at Slocum. She has taken extensive continuing education courses in upper extremity rehabilitation and is an active member of the American Hand Therapy Association.

Jennifer Mroz, O.T., C.H.T.

Jennifer Mroz O.T.R., C.H.T. graduated from Sargent College of Allied Health Professions at Boston University in 1990 with a degree in Occupational Therapy. She worked in a variety of settings in Phoenix, Arizona, primarily in adult physical disabilities, before moving to Eugene to work at the Oregon Rehab Center at Sacred Heart Medical Center. In 2002 she began exploring and working in outpatient orthopedics at PeaceHealth and went on to earn her Hand Therapy certification in 2005. Her interests include cooking, music, photography and theater.
