DME Orthotic Fitter - Slocum Orthopedics is currently recruiting for a full-time DME/Orthotic Fitter. This is a benefited position scheduled to work 40 hours per week, 8:00am - 5:00pm. This position requires the successful candidate be a Certified Fitter-Orthotics (Cfo) or the ability to obtain certification within 3-6 months of hire, have knowledge and background of human anatomy, and 1 year of hands on patient care experience. Candidates must be self-motivated, well organized, fast paced, work well with a team, have good attention for detail, and have great communication, documentation and time management skills. This position is responsible for fitting, educating, and training patients on proper use and maintenance of durable medical equipment (DME) products while working with Physicians to provide the appropriate bracing needs. Customer service experience from the healthcare or medical field, and a background in sports or sports medicine preferred. Certified Athletic Training preferred.
Medical Assistant - Slocum Orthopedics is seeking to fill an open position working in the clinical area as an orthopedic Medical Assistant. Must be a certified, registered, or credentialed Medical Assistant with at least six months of post-educational experience working as a Medical Assistant. Must be organized, be team centered, and be skilled at multi-tasking. Must have proactive communication skills when delivering medical information to patients. This is a full time position expected to work around 36-40 hours per week.
Nurse Practitioner - Slocum Orthopedics is recruiting for a full-time Nurse Practitioner to work in our clinic providing patient care that supports our bundled payment care coordination team and pre-surgical optimization program. This position works directly with orthopedic patients, clinic providers, and primary care offices to develop care plans for pre-surgical readiness.
A successful applicant must have a current state license as an Advance Practice Registered Nurse, certification as a Nurse Practitioner, and be eligible for State Controlled Substance License II through V as well as Federal DEA Certificate II through V. Orthopedic experience a plus.
Patient Registraion - Slocum Orthopedics is recruiting for a full-time Patient Registration position. A successful candidate will be skilled with electronic medical record systems, work well as part of a team and have excellent customer service and communication skills. Surgery Scheduler - Slocum Orthopedics is currently recruiting for a Surgery Scheduler, expected to work 24 hours per week (benefited). This is a job share / float position where the person in the position will job share 2 days per week with a primary surgery scheduler, and float the remaining day. The preferred candidate will be a CMA, or have the equivalent training and/or medical, back office experience. Prior surgery scheduling experience preferred, and prior orthopedic experience a plus. This position requires the ability to work in a fast paced environment while multi-tasking. Strong interpersonal skills; ability to communicate positively, and effectively with patients, surgeons, coworkers, and multiple outside facilities is essential. Prior experience working with an EMR is preferred, with NextGen and EPIC experience a plus.

Physical Therapist - Slocum Orthopedics is currently recruiting for a full or part time Physical Therapist. Must have a current Oregon PT license, new graduates welcome to apply. Prior experience with outpatient orthopedic patients preferred. Manual therapy skills required. Must be able to work well as part of a team that includes therapists and assistants as well as independently. A flexible schedule is a plus.

OR RN - Slocum Orthopedics is looking for a RN to work in the operating room of our Ambulatory Surgery Center. This is a full time benefited position. Two years of experience as an RN working in a operating room setting required. Scrub and/or orthopedic experience desirable. BLS and RN license required, ACLS recommended.
Surgical Technician - Slocum Orthopedics is currently recruiting a Surgical Technician to work in the operating room of our Ambulatory Surgical Center. This is a full time benefited position.
