You are here

As we continue to react to the COVID-19 pandemic, we are committed to providing orthopedic care to the community while also keeping our patients and staff safe.

We Are Open & Offering Patients:

  • Elective Surgeries*
  • In-Office Visits with Safety Measures
  • Telemedicine Appointments
  • Physical and Occupational Therapy

*Consistent with Gov. Brown’s directives, elective surgeries are gradually resuming dependent on availability of personal protective equipment (e.g., masks, gloves) and urgency of the procedure. Surgery candidates are currently determined on a case-by-case basis.

The Slocum Center for Orthopedics & Sports Medicine thanks you for your patience and your support during this time. Now that our hospitals and surgery centers can maintain a safe level of supplies, we are resuming a slow and gradual return to elective surgeries. We are in close communication with the local hospitals and health authorities, and will continue to do so as we slowly move forward. We will call you once we are able to schedule surgery for you.

In addition, we offer in-office visits with safety measures and telemedicine appointments (video and phone).

We are here to help you start your journey back to doing what you love to do! Receive care for all your orthopedic needs! Schedule your appointment today!
